Conclusion of the first batch of the professional diploma for managers of corporate social responsibility programs
The closing day witnessed the presentation and discussion of graduation projects before a committee of experts and specialists, representing a number of private sector companies and civil society organizations, in a practical experience that reflected the importance of integration between various partners in designing and implementing social responsibility programs.
The submitted projects were distinguished by their innovative ideas, sustainable development interventions, and methodologies for measuring impact and return on social investment, in addition to preparing integrated plans for social responsibility programs in accordance with best professional practices.
The graduation projects discussion committee included:
- Dr. Musad Radwan - Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences at Sadat Academy.
- Dr. Mohamed Fahmy - management systems and business development expert.
- Dr. Hanan Al-Jundi - development advisor to many national and international organizations and development and environmental justice consultant.
- A. Mahmoud Al-Shimi - Director of the Governance and Sustainable Development Support Department - The Arab Center for Sustainable Civil Work.
Within the framework of enhancing the practical aspect of the diploma, the program included a field visit to the Misr El Kheir Foundation as a leading model for civil society organizations, which began with an introductory presentation about the organization, followed by a speech by Dr. Mohamed Mamdouh, Head of the NGO Development Sector, during which he stressed the importance of unifying concepts and strengthening the partnership between civil society organizations and corporate social responsibility managers, in a way that contributes to achieving more sustainable development.
